Heart-Centered Hypnosis allows you to get in touch with your core issues more rapidly than conventional talk-based approaches. It helps to cleanse the body of tension, discomfort, sadness, old anger, grief or any negative ideas or feelings you may be holding onto. It leaves you light and relaxed. It helps you to open your heart, and approach your challenges from a place of self-acceptance and peace.
I will lead you into a deep state of relaxation, through guided imagery, gentle suggestions, and tension-releasing exercises to get to the source of your issues. We will use a variety of techniques customized to your situation and preferences.

Will I have to cluck like a chicken or be silly?
Most of us are familiar with the theatrical hypnotists who make you cluck like a chicken or bark like a dog among other silly things. Remember that hypnosis is a state in which you are entirely in control - so you will only do what you want to do. (And, I do not do any “stage hypnosis,” so I wouldn’t give any such instructions.)
What if I can’t be hypnotized?
People put themselves in a state of hypnosis every day, even every hour, or every few minutes. Trance (or hypnosis) is a normal state that happens to everyone right before going to sleep, whenever they are engrossed in a movie or book, or “lose track of time” while doing something. In therapeutic hypnosis, the trance state is prolonged in order to work within its bounds. Everyone can be hypnotized, and everyone who is in hypnosis is entirely in control of the process.
Will I be in control over what I say and what I do?
Absolutely, you have complete control over what you say and do in all sessions.
Can a person get stuck in the hypnotic state?
It is impossible to get stuck in the hypnotic state. You will always emerge from hypnosis. Remember that trance is a natural state, one which you enter spontaneously throughout every day, anyway, and you have come out of it every time... because you are in total control of it.
What does it feel like to be hypnotized?
When you are in hypnosis, you usually feel quite relaxed. Hypnosis is not sleep, or anesthesia. Your mind is active, but calm. You are relaxed, yet alert. You can hear every sound in the room, and your thoughts are under your control.
What can I expect from a Heart-Centered Hypnosis session?
We will enter the session with the intent to meet some area you’d like to focus on, so it will be up to you. We will enter hypnosis, address whatever comes forward in your session, do some Heart-Centered work to create change, and you will emerge from hypnosis, feeling light, energized, and feeling a shift in that area for yourself - for the better! It is not magical, in that one session is unlikely to solve an issue completely. Most clients have several sessions over a period of time before they would consider their work completed.
What comes after Heart-Centered Hypnosis?
Some clients then move on to Transpersonal Life Coaching, using life coaching combined with trance to grow their ideas about success, abundance, fulfillment and spiritual life to new areas, beyond what they considered “success” before. For more, read here.
